Mark your calendars for May 27th, when the ABQ Blues and Brews Festival comes to New Mexico. The 2018 festival is a combination of live blues concert and a sampling brewing party.
New Mexico is home to some tasty beers and breweries You will get the chance to sample craft beer from across the state and even region with 60 different breweries coming to the festival. This is the largest beer celebration in the state and is part of the annual Albuquerque Beer Week. The 10-day event brings the community together through beer and food. Looking for more than just beer? The festival will also have a cocktail lounge complete with a cigar bar. These are the best seats in the house, setting in front of the stage with the option to sip on an array of mini cocktails.
This year, the festival features some of the best local blues musicians. The list is still growing, but you can guarantee a rocking lineup. While listening to live blues music and tasting gourmet beer, you will also have a chance to mingle with over 3,000 people and browse fun vendors selling their art and offering games to win prizes.

The ABQ Blues and Brews Festival is also a charity fundraiser with the proceeds being donated to charities. The event supports multiple local charities that include the American Lung Association, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Make-a-Wish Foundation of New Mexico. Plus, the event is just down the street from the new homes in Rio Rancho.
